Centre for European Political Sociology (GSPE)


The Groupe de sociologie politique européenne is the political science laboratory of the University of Strasbourg. Comprising 25 full time scholars, 33 associate researchers and 37 doctoral students, its scientific dynamic is reflected in a large body of publications, in the regular organization of conferences and workshops and in the development of a number of research contracts with local, national and European institutions.
Associated with and located in the Maison inter-universitaire des Sciences de l'Homme d'Alsace (CNRS-USR 3227), the GSPE has CNRS status since 2005 within the laboratory PRISME (CNRS-UMR 7012).
